2005 Polaris Predator 500 Troy Lee

My 2005 Polaris Predator 500 Troy Lee Special Edition

This machine is my favorite "looking" sport quad ever made. I've always liked the branding and style of the Polaris Predator. Plus my favorite color is orange so it's forever been locked in my brain since my teenage years. The Predator has a fairly bipolar following. With some people absolutely loving them to others completely hating on them.

This example is an amazing survivor. It's a 1 owner machine that I was fortunate to obtain in June of 2025. The majority of Predators have flaking powder coat and are in rough shape overall. This quad defies the odds and is one of the nicest orange Troy Lee's I've ever seen. I purchased it purely to collect it. I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't even taken it for a ride, except down the alleyway.

This is exactly how I received the quad. I didn't even detail it. I plan to do a full ride review video with first impressions sooner than later. That's why I haven't taken it on a short rip. I want to ride it for the first time with riding gear on, at my stopping grounds at Appleton OHV park, and truly experience the Troy Lee Predator as it came from the factory. It's a very unique machine and I feel privileged to be its caretaker.

It does have some cool mods that are pretty much unobtainable now. The whole machine is priceless, as many of these older survivors are. It has-

-Hot Seat Performance throttle and front brake reservoir covers

-Trail Tech computer and Handlebars

-Polaris Predator Bar Clamp

-Polaris Predator 50th anniversary edition silver plated head pipe

-Pro Armor Case Saver

-Aftermarket Gas Cap (not sure which brand)

-(Not Pictured) Pure Polaris "white bros" slip on

-(Not Pictured) Pure Polaris V Bumper

-(Not Pictured) Pure Polaris 6 pack rear grab bar

-(Not Pictured) Like new set of OEM take off tires

It's odd to have a machine that I don't ride but it has sentimental value and I'm beyond stoked to have something I thought I would never find.
