This quad is my back up machine. It used to belong to Chris Borning of DBR ATV Products. Previously I had a red 2004 400EX. It was originally purchased for my friend Connor that used to help with my channel. I regrettably sold it because it wasn't getting used very much. At the time I had my YFZ450R and our Scrambler XP1000 demo unit. I felt bad seeing it sit and decided to part ways with it. It was sold to a family with 2 younger riders that subscribed and they've had a ton of fun using the quad. Fast forward a few seasons and after selling the YFZR and giving back the Scrambler, I realized I needed another back up quad for big trips. I knew I had to get another 400EX and wanted a yellow bug eye this time. Long story short, don't sell your 400EX. You'll regret it.

I have more plans for this machine but getting new upgrades hasn't been a huge priority at this time. I'll be working with Chris at DBR to bring some new 400ex parts to market and improve this machines overall handling characteristics. Increasing the power isn't part of the plan, as I would like to keep this machine more practical for beginner/intermediate riders. Stay tuned for future updates!
